Shipping

Order Preparation and Shipping Time.

The majority of our orders are shipped within a day, although some orders can take 3-5 business days to prepare. The majority of goods are sent via off-peak ground, or express services, based on the destination. Specialist carriers are used depending on the customer’s location.

Shipping Partners and Discounts

We have negotiated aggressive discounts with common carriers that are passed on to the customer. Multiple shipping partners are utilised to facilitate the shipping of some orders. This is to help maintain adequate inventory levels, to keep our costs to a minimum when dealing with large or otherwise bulky items, and to increase our offerings with uncommon or seldomly requested items.

Delivery Charges

Delivery is charged per order, based on size, weight, and location. During checkout, you will need to calculate shipping, please select the area that best corresponds to the delivery address. (In all cases, this is an estimate. We use the cubic weight of the order and the postcode entered to calculate this amount. If the true freight cost differs from this, you will be contacted and additional freight charges may apply).

Shipping Adjustments and Remote Areas

We reserve the right to adjust shipping charges if the incorrect region was selected, or if you live in a remote area where additional charges are incurred by us. (Most of NT, WA, and TAS are classed as remote by the freight companies we utilise). In all cases where there may be additional shipping charges, we will contact you directly prior to the order being completed or charged.

Delivery Acceptance and Re-delivery

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure they can accept all deliveries and provide a signature as proof of delivery if required (We cannot leave goods unattended). Re-delivery will incur an additional charge and is the customer’s responsibility.

Special Shipping Instructions

In regards to special shipping instructions, we will pass this information to the carrier used, however, no assurance is given as to whether the instructions are met.

Large and Bulky Items

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure they can accept all deliveries in regards to the unloading of large and bulky items, such as having a forklift available for products such as Slat Panel and Glass Showcases.

Shipment Delays

Whilst we do try and meet requested shipping deadlines, once goods have been handed over to freight carriers, Shop Supplies will not be accountable for shipment delays that occur beyond our control.
